What is the most elaborate or expensive inanimate object you wish to posses? (That you do not currently own).
…That’s actually really difficult. Hmm. I want to say a camera, which is only half cheating - I do want a lot of fancy lenses and equipment that I don’t own, but I also already have a camera, so.
I guess if we’re flexible with the definition of “object” I could say “giant awesome stylish library”, because damn. But sticking purely to the singular… if I’m going with expensive, I’m going to say a 3D printer, because I honestly am not into flashy expensive things and at least 3D printers can do cool useful stuff. If I’m going with elaborate, though, any kind of Rube Goldberg-y steampunk installation. I don’t even care what it does. As long as it’s brass and ticks and has some ostensibly practical function it will be totally awesome.
